Community Education Event

The Iowa Heart Center Foundation hosted Caldwell Esselstyn, M.D. at a community education event on May 2, 2014 at the Iowa Heart Center West University office. Dr. Esselstyn, a best-selling author seen on CNN’s Last Heart Attack with Bill Clinton, presented “Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease”. Heart healthy refreshments were provided to the 200 attendees by Whole Foods Market. Copies of Dr. Esselstyn’s book were donated by the Iowa Heart Center Foundation as door prizes.
