The Iowa Heart Foundation supports sharing knowledge on cardiovascular disease.
Our dedicated commitment to both professional education of healthcare workers as well as the public is seen through
the following:
Cardiovascular Today
The Iowa Heart Foundation Cardiovascular Today program, held annually in February, provides education on emerging cardiovascular education and research
for physicians, midlevel providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), nurses, and technicians.
Contributions made to the Iowa Heart Foundation support increased knowledge surrounding cardiac disease diagnosis and state of the art treatment
practices for healthcare providers.
For more information on our annual February program, contact Amy Bentz at (515) 633-3728 or Kim Oswald at (515) 633-3555.
Cardiac Speakers Bureau
The Iowa Heart Foundation also recognizes the importance of cardiac disease prevention.
Contributions made to the Iowa Heart Foundation support cardiac education programs for patients, families, communities (rural and metropolitan),
professional organizations and corporations.
Education programs and seminars are offered by clinically trained, expert physicians, mid-level providers, registered nurses, dietitians,
and technicians on a variety of cardiac related topics and research. For more information, contact us at (515) 633-3555.
