Ottumwa Has Heart 5k
The Ottumwa Has Heart 5K Run/Walk is held annually in Ottumwa, Iowa. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Iowa and Wapello County is one of the most impacted counties. Proceeds for the event will support heart health initiatives in southeast Iowa.
Cardiac Classic
The annual Cardiac Classic takes place in July at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. All funds raised will support heart disease prevention and heart health education efforts throughout central Iowa.

In honor of World Heart Day held each year on September 29th Iowa Heart Foundation holds our All Heart. All Day. giving campaign. A single day dedicated to promote heart health education and the prevention of heart disease. As part of the campaign, individuals are invited to participate by becoming a champion for Iowa Heart Foundation. Champions support the campaign by fundraising and engaging their communities in heart healthy actions.
