Our aim is to promote cardiovascular health in Iowa communities and organizations. To accomplish this we commit to:

  • Community Service - Increasing awareness on cardiac health and related services
  • Professional Education - providing access to emerging information on cardiac health
  • Charitable Services - assisting those with a determined financial need to obtain cardiac healthcare services

100% of funding remains within Iowa serving Iowans and their communities.

6th Annual "Run For Your Life" run/walk event

The 6th annual "Run For Your Life" run/walk event will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Des Moines Water Works Park at 8:00 am. Funds raised from this event are dedicated to the placement of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) in Iowa communities. The brochure and route maps will be posted under upcoming events in July.

Annual Nursing/Medical Assistant Conference

Save the Date for our 5th Annual Nursing/Medical Assistant Conference scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Iowa Heart Center West University office in West Des Moines, Iowa. The brochure will be posted under upcoming events in August.
